About Us

efm, Inc. was created with a goal of providing strategic-level events and peer networking groups with integrity for technology leaders throughout the central United States.

efm’s founders challenged themselves to create peer groups and events that would be valuable for technology leaders in terms of educational opportunities, networking, convenience, geography and cost.

From the perspective of the IT vendor community, the company set out to create events that would offer an opportunity for a limited number of select leading-edge suppliers to professionally position themselves in front of exclusive groups in a non-intrusive environment.  These suppliers would have to be afforded the ability to forge new relationships with IT professionals and enhance existing relationships with current clients by underwriting their events.

Utilizing research and relationships with the IT community and Technology Suppliers - the efm cluster of events and peer groups were created.  The first efm managed event was held in Kansas in 2001 with the leadership of key peer networking groups creating the content and rules of engagement for that event. efm has since expanded operations into Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Indiana and Nebraska.
